diary of a designer: upholstering part 2

Upon completion of the most important upholstery project,
the dining room chair;
my next upholstery projects were the bench/ottoman
& the very ugly faux leather cubes in the living room.

Project 1:
I wanted the bench to appear to have one longer seat,
rather than two,
since it is primarily being used as an ottoman.
In addition, I wanted to incorporate a little pattern.

I felt the toille went nicely with the wicker-
perhaps an updated french country aesthetic.

Project 2:
Recovering the cubes
I've been dreaming of recovering these forever,
but have never taken the time to execute the project.

Also, since I lack a sewing machine,
I found a 'no sew' (or limited sewing) option online,
to help get me started.
